A side button-up dress inspired by a 1950s silhouette as it evolved into the 1960s with the comfort and wearability of our times. Made in printed cotton poplin and fully lined in ivory Irish linen. The fitted bodice has princess seams and the below elbow sleeve has a front slit. Fullness in the skirt is created with double inverted box pleats - three at the front and back - which sits neatly at the hips creating a feminine shape without adding any extra inches. Discreet side front pockets are deep enough to place lip balm, hankie, phone or your hands. Constructed with French seams and sewn entirely with 100% cotton thread to ensure every material may return to the Earth. Hand sewn finishing, including the hem and lining.  The smokey grey buttons are made of mother-of-pearl. A linen lining is healthy and feels fresh and comfortable on the skin whilst providing structure to the dress.
